The children of the community played a large part in the building process, they were very eager to learn and took on roles in a joyous and responsible manner. They embraced the tools and learnt processes such as cutting / sawing wood, screwing, fastening bolts etc. This is very important as they gained a real sense of achievement and pride that they built their own playground whilst learning vital skills.
